Meet Recurrence - second full-length by Omnibeing.

The album concept is formed around the Tibetan Book of the Dead also known as Bardo Thodol. The ideas of the cyclic nature of life and death, reincarnation, and intermediate states of consciousness captured in this book are reflected in the song titles, artwork as well as music composition. The album starts and ends with the same motive as in the cycle of reincarnation - hence the “Recurrence” in the title. Interlude tracks titled Chikhai, Chonyid and Sidpa are the Tibetan Buddhist concepts meaning the experience of the moment of death, intermediate state and then rebirth.

Musically this a transition release. While it still has distinct features heard of the early Omnibeing music it definitely shifts towards the new territory. There's saxophone, fuzzy guitars, and more ambient and musical songs rather than a technique showcase. You're gonna love it!
